about

"As one who loved

poetry and persimmons

Consider me"

Masaoka Shiki

a sunday night bakery? with poetry books and zines? yes and yes.

why “bread and roses?”

Because human life is about more than mere survival. We are not sustained by bread alone. Bread symbolizes the right to basic necessities while roses symbolize a life of joy, beauty and pleasure!

Through fresh, natural, high quality bread and handcrafted pastries, a focus on community, and a love for sharing food, music, and poetry, we’ll contribute to our neighbors—body and soul. It’s how we choose to stay human.
